Seagull Lake in Minnesota is the site of this aerial view. A challenging site with a new dock!
Picture
Namakan Lake remote site project completed mid July - relatively flat rock turned into a dock. Thanks Maxwell!

Ash River project completed mid July - thanks Heather and Ben!
Picture
Ash River gets an excellent floating platform attached to the existing ramp and shore crib. Pontoon boat has 24+ feet on right and Pat has her swim ladder on left end. Thank You Pat!

Picture
Greenwood Lake gets a new dock mid June 2020. The seven foot long approach ramp in foreground is 6 feet wide to afford room to the local greenery. An 8 foot wide shore crib filled with local rock leads out to an 8x16 hinge section and two 8x16 floating sections side by side.

This site was "developed" for the shore crib and dock shown in the above picture

Picture
Saganaga Lake gets a new dock installed spring of 2020 - a seven foot long approach ramp onto a shore crib filled with local rocks and 32 feet straight out from there. Don's old dock is in the water next to the new dock - quite a noticeable difference!

Picture
Ash River gets a new dock in Mid June 2019 completed over two days onsite south of International Falls. The deck (wider piece) is built over an existing crib onshore and Dennis' sections floating lead to Jane's piece on the end which has the ladder for swimming. Thanks Dennis and Jane!
Picture
The last section of this dock was hooked up on a rainy day up the Gunflint Trail out of Grand Marais Minnesota. You can see the short approach ramp leading to an 8x8 "shore crib" and then out to a ramp which transitions to two floating sections - the last one elled. The boat launch is to the left of the dock.

Swim rafts are an increasing part of our summers - once you have a destination to swim to, well, you have a destination to swim to! This one is 12 x 12 and carpet on the deck with 6 floats. It is stable enough to throw a party on!

Jim and crew pick up 24 feet of dock to be installed that day at their camp - it is heavy out of water but weightless on the water - drags easily at idle speed to your location. The hinge is sitting on top of the 16 foot dock section in this picture as it was delivered to the boat launch. We dropped those pieces into the water on Rainy Lake just before the 4th and they were on their way just after 6am! The two other crew members actually decided to sleep in on this particular day - something about being out late the night before!
Note the hazy sky conditions due to the fires in Saskatchewan. Fire crews are struggling with over 100 wildfires and the smoke is noticeable well down into Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Thanks to John for forwarding this outstanding picture of your finished installation and our first of the 2016 season - on Deer Yard Lake.
Minnesota multi section dock - 4 foot wide x 12 foot long "hinge" connected to 8x16 with 8x12 on end. The 8x12 could be disconnected and anchored out a bit to be used as a swim raft! Pictures in the gallery show the hinge on top of the 8x16, being towed to site with pontoon boat - 8x12 was installed the next day.
The second delivery of 2016 to Elbow Lake Minnesota. Thanks Jim for meeting us at the launch and helping with the dismount of your new 6x16 floating dock!

Scott and Fred just pushed this one into the water in Northern Minnesota and the boat behind will easily pull it over to the new owners dock site.

Just because the shoreline is rocky does not mean we cannot create a floating masterpiece for you too!!

Ash River gets 2 feet of floating dock in June 2017 - all of ours are built to be modular and additional length can be added - Thanks Chuck!

This dock delivered in mid June 2017 was to a water access only spot and we of course were going to work around the shoreline trees, especially the Cedar to the right in the picture. All materials were transported by boat to the site and the finished dock is 32 feet long with a narrower 6.5 foot gangplank to the dock. Note the "shore crib" in about 6 inches of water at high water in late spring. Thanks Nancy, this was a fun site to build this dock on!
Picture
28 feet of dock going down the road to our friends at Hungry Jack Lodge. Later this summer, we hope to find a float plane moored to the side of this dock. An aspiring float plane pilot is pictured on top, poised to start training in a few years.

Noah appears in 2017 as quality control engineer and final installation site specialist. Although these pictures were taken on different days, he seems to wear the same shirt most days when working with Dad!

Late July at Hungry Jack Lodge sees two more docks in the water around the point. Notice the "Shore Anchor" sitting mostly out of the water and tucked in close on the shore. These docks have floats on all ends and will be disconnected in fall by pulling two pins. Once these pins are out, the 28 feet of dock will float to a quiet end of this lake for winter storage anchored in the shallows. This particular site sees much snowmobile traffic and they could present a hazard when covered by snow.

The "from shore" view shows a 6 foot wide approach ramp to the "Shore Anchor".
